Food Coma

This Thanksgiving I volunteered to help in the kitchen with the food. OMG a lot of prep work but I honestly loved it. I wouldn't call myself a pro in the kitchen, but I liked being a part of bringing the meal to the table. My family and I worked together and it was a lot of fun. I hope you all enjoyed the holiday with great food and family. I did and may I say the food coma is real LOL 😂

What would I say?

I was watching a YouTube video about "Tips for Aspiring Authors." As I watched, I wondered what would I say? Technically, I'm still an aspiring author myself, but I wondered is there anything I would share from what I've learned so far. So, here's my tip. Write. Sounds simple right? It is. I know there's the business side and so much more in terms of details, but from my own personal experience, just write. I think I've mentioned before that I don't have a formal writing background. I started at fourteen after a death in my family, and I used writing to get my feelings out. Next thing I knew, it turned into a story. Nine years later, I still kept it a secret. I wasn't ashamed, but it was my own personal therapy. The more I wrote, the better I got. Then I decided to self-publish, again only keeping it to myself and not telling anyone but my immediate family. To my surprise, the public liked what I wrote. I know I won't please everyone with m
